Biggest pile of trash ever. It's a bar that'll make ensign turn over in his grave after GW dies.

OMG that bar is full of fail. End of discussion.

If you want to play elly in RA, Shatterstone > all. Period.

Glyph of immolation
Shatterstone
Freezing gust
Steam
Slippery ground
Glowing Ice
Water attunement
Res sig.

Other alternatives to playing elly in RA - searing flames, savannah heat, invoke lightning, blinding surge, mind freeze, water trident.

All good PVP elly builds are based on one of these elites, but for RA shatterstone rules all.

Cookie cutter > you.
Where's Mind Blast?

Mind you, Invoke Lightning and Searing Flames are only used in gimmicky builds.

Here's some attempts to improve it. I might be wasting my time, but whatever. Two different build using Dark Aura, which actually doesn't do too bad in the damage department.

N/E

Blood of the Aggressor
Angorodon's Gaze
Signet of Agony
Vampiric Spirit
Dark Aura
Rez Signet
Glyph of Lesser Energy
Signet of Lost Souls

Or if you're like me, and hate Angorodon's Gaze.

Dark Pact
Blood of the Aggressor
Vampiric Spirit
Dark Aura
Rez Signet
*Whatever* (Masochism?)
*Whatever* (Some self-healing skill?)
Signet of Lost Souls

Ultimately though all your opponent needs to do is move away to avoid most the damage.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

You could also dump Dark Aura and go Curses.

Blood of the Aggressor
Dark Pact or Vampiric Gaze?
Vampiric Spirit
Rez Signet
Another curse spell or GoLE or whatever.
Faintheartedness or Enfeeble
Enfeeble or Enchant Removal
Signet of Lost Souls

Anyways, it's still not particularly grand, but that's my attempt to salvage this build

yeah, my warrior likes knockdown in pvp. nice little setting up for the backline, another frontliner/spikers will destroy the knocked down foe before he knew what hit him.

I dont use mind blast much cos im an SF junkie. I inject SF into my veins and it feels good. So meh, whats mind blast? ^^

Actually I just didnt know it was used much in PVP cos ive not done it in ages, besides RA. But I need more searing flames! (Gets out syringe).

Everyone should step off the band wagon and provide constructive criticism. This isn't a forum for just top 100 guild members.

Not to mention...

There's quite a large number of casual players that prefer to mix things up instead of doing the same build/skills over and over.

Wouldn't a random skillbar creator be more efficient for creating crap builds?

Aparently losing and heading back to farming is more appealing...

OK....casual players like to mix things up. I am fine with that.

When the casual players ask for constructive criticism, then they should expect to be told that their build isn't good.

I mean if I posted a Smiting Warrior on here with all smiting skills, then how is there going to be ANY "constructive criticism?

Advice on how to make a totally shitty build only partially shitty?

Making "mixed up" builds is fine, but when asking for criticism, don't expect everyone to give good advice on how to improve the Ele melee bloodspiker.

There is a difference between saying...

"You should go hammer for knockdowns to assist the KD conditional smites."

..and..

"You should get rid of that skillbar and make a bunny thumper."

I've seen this in pretty much EVERY build post in EVERY profession section.

People come up with a concept they'd like to play and a bandwagon gets created on how awful it is and how they should be playing something else.

Unfortunately, that 'something else' is a select few tried and true builds that are known to dominate.

Why not just give someone Mind Blast out of the gate and get rid of every other fire elite?

A smiting warrior is like driving a wheelbarrow instead of a car. Now, you can slap superchargers and spoilers on that wheelbarrow all day, it's still going to be fundamentally flawed. Sometimes you need to cut your losses and grab something without basic flaws.

There are other elites I run on my ele than mind blast. Vampiric spirit is not one of them.

I'm with you on this one Asrial. I get kinda tired of all the rude people that seem to be taking over Guru, including some mods. There ARE different ways of saying the build is not good. Does it make people feel like they are special or a big shot to continually insult posters here? I just don't understand why people even bother to post in a thread when all they say is " ya I agree with the other flamers here, you suck!!eleventy!1" Wow. Pure genius. Glad you put some actual thought into that superman...
